It is my honor to be spending my 30th year in education, in Kerrville ISD, as part of the Tivy High School Counseling TEAM. After 16 years in the dream job of Elementary PE Teacher at Starkey Elementary, I received my M. Ed. in Counseling from Angelo State University and spent the next three years as a Counselor at Hal Peterson Middle School. This is my elventh year proudly serving the Tivy family.
I also enjoy snow skiing, fishing at the coast with my husband Leslie, and adventures great and small with our four daughters and three precious granddaughters.

I am excited to be a part of the Tivy Counseling Department. I have an Interdisciplinary degree from Tarleton State University and a Masters in School Counseling degree from Lamar University. I began my career as an elementary teacher. I taught 3rd grade at Starkey for many years before transitioning to Tom Daniels Elementary where I was the school counselor. This is my second year at Tivy. I am honored to be a part of the Antler family.
In my spare time, my husband and I like to be outdoors, travel, and visit our daughter who is currently in college.

I am so happy to join Tivy High School Counseling team. I have been part of KISD as a teacher, coach, and parent for over twenty-five years. I received my master's degree in counseling from Lamar University and have worked as a counselor at Tom Daniels Elementary for two years. I love kids and am eager to work with Tivy High School students to help them prepare for their next chapter in their lives. I am married and have two sons. My oldest graduated from UT and my youngest is a senior at Baylor University. When I am not working, I love traveling with them, especially to beaches where fishing is a must. I also love to read, exercise, and work in my yard. I look forward to making 2025-2026 a great year!
