TIVY HIGH SCHOOL BUDDY BENCHES
Tivy Buddy Benches

Tivy High School has indeed embraced the concept of "buddy benches" to promote friendship and inclusivity among its students. The school has installed two buddy benches branded with the inspiring phrase "It's a Good Day," which carries a special significance.

This motto originated from a former Tivy student named Jackson Enloe, who encouraged his classmates to approach each day with a positive attitude. Enloe's message resonated with the school community, exemplifying how friendship and acceptance can profoundly impact a person's life.

Buddy benches serve as designated areas where students can sit when they feel lonely or are looking for someone to play with during recess or free time. The concept aims to foster a sense of belonging and community among students. When other students notice a peer sitting on the buddy bench, they are encouraged to approach and invite them to join in activities or simply strike up a conversation.

By incorporating Jackson Enloe's uplifting message on their buddy benches, Tivy High School has created a meaningful connection between the school's tradition of inclusivity and the broader buddy bench initiative. This thoughtful approach not only honors Enloe's memory but also reinforces the school's commitment to creating a supportive and friendly environment for all students.
